The tree is called "Nespereira" and it needs plenty water to produce good fruits. Good Nesperas have a bright orange colour and they can be very sweet. Spanish have plenty of this fruits too. I like to peel them before eating because the skin is thick and can have a sour taste.

Home depot, PIKES sells them.I got two one from Home depot and one from a pit. It takes about 5 years to produce the first fruit,on a mild winter.Mine are staring to bloom now.
