Cannelloni Carbonara

Ingredients:

~ 200 gr of Cannelloni pasta
~ 100 gr low fat bacon or ham
~ 100 gr of mushrooms
~ 1/2 onion & 1 small garlic clove
~ 1 tablespoon olive oil
~ 200 ml milk cream
~ 150 gr Cheddar (or other) and Mozzarella Cheese
~ Oregano (at taste)
~ Salt & black pepper

Directions:

1. Boil cannelloni in salted water for 8/10 minutes or according to packet´s instructions. Reserve. Turn on the oven at 160 ºC.
2. Finely chop 1/2 onion to a pan. Add the olive oil, a clove of garlic (with peel) and let it fry for 3 minutes in low temperature. Add the bacon and mushrooms and fry for 5 more minutes or until bacon is well cooked. If you use ham instead of bacon fry it only for a couple minutes. Add cannelloni and mix everything well. Season with black pepper at taste (optional).
4. Put cannelloni mixture in a Pyrex or other oven tray. Add milk cream (one small packet), grated cheese and sprinkle with dry oregano.
5. Cook cannelloni in the oven for, at least, 15 minutes or until mozzarella cheese has melted and turned golden.

Very easy and tasty recipe. Serves 4.
Bom Apetite!

Hello DCRose,
Thanks for visiting and commenting.
This pasta recipe is delicious indeed and it´s so easy to do. Even my 9 years daughter could do it (except for the chopped onion part) lol.
A great weekend for you :)
Hugs, Mizé.
