Fried Shrimps au Garlic
In Portugal, we have a wide variety of seafood but my favorite is simply shrimps.
For me, a small plate of shrimps (along with two or three slices of toasted bread with butter) makes a perfect meal. As we say here..."Um Petisco".
Here´s my Fried Shrimps au Garlic recipe:
~ 500 gr Shrimps
~ 5 Garlic cloves
~ Salt (at taste)
~ Olive oil (2 table spoons)
~ Juice of 1 lemon
1. Peel garlic, cut cloves in half and put in a frying pan.
2. Add olive oil, take it to stove and fry the garlic until golden.
3. Add shrimps and let them fry well in both sides.
4. Before serving, sprinkle shrimps with lemon juice.
