Portuguese Fruit: Damascos

In the begining of summer, Damascos are a tasty fruit we can easily find in Portuguse supermarkets.
They´re soft, not much juicy but very sweet. They´re less acid than peaches and kids usually like them best. Spain also produces Damascos, they´re cheaper than ours.
The Damascos in the picture were offered by the same lady that gave me the figs, lucky me :)

  2. Hi Mei Teng,
    Thanks for visiting.
Damascos are from the same family of Apricots. I find them sweeter than Apricots.
    Good week ahead!
    My best regards, Mizé.
