Meat Ravioli & Sauce
Like many Portuguese, I´m an Italian cuisine fan. I like most Italian Pasta recipes specially Pizza, Lasagna and Cannelloni. Well, who doesn´t? Right...
A couple weeks ago, I had a Ravioli desire and once I had very little time to cook, I bought a "ready to cook" packet. I was wondering if it would be as good as other Ravioli I´ve tried in Portuguese restaurants.
I boiled the pasta for 8 minutes in salted water and reserved it while preparing the sauce. For the sauce, I used the same ingredients as Stroganoff: 200 ml milk cream, ketchup and a little mustard. I putted the pasta in a pan, added a 6 tablespoons of water, a pinch of salt and took it to stove again. Added sauce and stirred well. Cooked for 4/5 minutes more and was ready to serve.
It was the first time I used this combination, Stroganoff sauce in Raviolis, but it came out really good and I will sure cook this dish again.

I would never have thought of using that sauce/ravioli combination. I think I might try it.
