Religion: Christian 94,8% (catholics 92,2%, protestants 1,5%, other Christians 1,1%), Islamic 0,1%, others 5,1% (censo, 1995)

Earnings per Capita: US$ 22.937 (2006).

Portuguese Districts: Portugal has 18 different districts. Each district has a capital city.

Portugal is divided in six different regions: Minho, Norte (including Beira Alta and Beira Baixa), Centro, Lisboa e Vale do Tejo, Alentejo and Algarve.

The weather in north Portugal is colder and rains more than in south.

Each region has it´s own traditions.

Traditional food varies among regions.
